While I don’t love fly tying, tenkara kebari are some of the easier types of flies to crank out a bunch of in a short time. So, I sucked it up and sat down over the weekend and whipped up a couple dozen in preparation of Friday’s trip to the Driftless.

While Pink Squirrel nymphs tend to be coulee conquerors, (I’ll be picking up more than my fair share locally), the Road Kone can claim more than a few good days of its own.

I wish I had stated tying my own flies years ago, but now it easier for me to just buy the flies I need from Fly Shack. Thanks for sharing
