Friday Fly-Fishing Film Festival 03.21.25 - Troutrageous!

The Orvis News blog has been kinda quiet recently; it may even be on life support. I certainly miss the Friday Fly-Fishing Film Festival posts they used to regularly publish, as it would set up my weekend (and daily work lunch breaks) for some fine fishy viewing.

I reached out to Tom Rosenbauer to see if Orvis would let me take over the gig, but most likely based on my resume of work here the offer was declined. So, until the F5 comes back over there, I’m going to host it over here. Maybe not every Friday though. Consider this an act of love, in the same vein as your favorite ’70s tribute band. 🤘

And to outright pilfer the weekly lead-in (until the Orvis legal team comes knocking on my door), “For best results, watch all videos at full-screen and in high definition. Remember, we surf so you don’t have to. But if you do stumble upon something great that you think is worthy of inclusion in a future F5, please post it in the comments below, and we’ll take a look.”
