When I started this blog back in 2007, I never thought I’d be writing it for 2 or 3 years, much less 17. There’s been a lot of changes to blogging, social media, fly fishing, and to be honest, me over those years, but one thing has stayed consistent, the Troutrageous “Blogger” website.

Well, guess what, despite the misleading tone of the title of this post, if you’re one of the three or four people still reading this blog, you’re not getting rid of me.
Instead, we’re going to re-boot Troutrageous! over on the WordPress platform… something that’s long overdue. As I’ve been putting more energy into building Tenkara Angler over the past few years, I’ve really become accustomed to the flexibility WordPress offers bloggers. And with Google being Google and randomly dropping support for services on a whim, I figured now was as good a time as any to make the move.
Now will this mean I’ll be writing more? We’ll see. I’ve been super busy over at Tenkara Angler, however that website is a bit, how do you say it, more “professional”… I’d never post something like THIS over there. So, instead, I’m going to channel all the stupid, random, and otherwise idiotic things over here, with a flavoring of fly fishing throughout.
As for today, I just picked a stock theme for the new blog that looks pretty janky. So, give me a bit, we’ll get handsomer over time, fix broken links and images, and all of the fun stuff that needs to take place to get this hunk of junk purring like the Millennium Falcon again.
Until then, bear with me. Kinda psyched to be Troutrageous!-ing once more.
I must be one of the 3 or 4 people you were referring to……Though I have long since stopped posting myself I still like to keep up with others are up to and will continue to follow you at your new home. Thanks for the memories here and I look forward to the posts to come over there….
Appreciate you stopping by! Happy to know people ARE still reading!
