It's Not Everyday You Get An Email From Someone At PBS…

…yeah that PBS.

While my taste in TV is generally directed more toward hillbillies, bigfeet, and the purchase of abandoned storage lockers, I guess my last post on ice fishing caught the eye of someone in the land of public television.  However, this ain’t no Downton Abbey…and as such, I share what they asked me to below…
…and yes, even though I don’t ice fish, I want one.

  1. You need to pitch a new reality TV series to PBS where you incorporate intoxicated hillbillies chasing bigfeet with these gizmos on the ice.”World of Wilcraft?”

  2. Notice that the practicality of the ice mobile is covered quite thoroughly. Really some interesting features. However, no price shared or how a person can own one. I would assume after looking at the final price, most ice fisherman I know would go with a sled, bucket, and perhaps a ice hut. I will be awaiting your review post some day, Mike!

  3. Great stuff and I know a bunch of guys in Michigan that would love one but I'm still trying to figure out why pbs is promoting it….bass pro might be a better avenue right? Hope they give you one.

  4. I doubt a review post will be coming soon Mel, but if you'd like me to review the one piece of ice fishing gear you didn't mention (that comes in liquid form) I'd be happy to take one for the team!
